The offer comes from a guy named Scott Wainner. He is an entrepreneur from the original dot com boom days. Sold his internet businesses when he was 21 for $12 mil. Now he is looking to buy forums big and small. I am sure he is looking to build his network of sites to build on affiliate sales and whatnot, but he presents an interesting opportunity.
He says he will look at any size you just have to give him some statistics. It may be a way for you to get rid of an old forum you don’t want to run anymore and make a little cash.

Should I consider selling Buchos?
Buchos is small and not very active. If you were looking to get rid of it then you could give it a shot. I doubt it would net you very much though since it is more of a meeting place for a group of friends than a hobbyist or information forum.
I think his idea is to snap up some hobby type forums.. but I could be wrong. For example say he buys a mini-bikes forum or something similiar. Then he would put affiliate ads around the site selling bikes, parts etc. It would be easier to monetize that kind of forum than a spot for friends.
